Dear future delegates of AMMUN 2019, My name is Maha Temre and I’m currently a junior at André Malraux International High School. It is a great honor to introduce myself as the Main Chair of the United Nations Environment Program, after having attended several conferences as a delegate at both a national and international scale, where I was elected Best Delegate twice. MUN has been taking a bigger place in my life each day since my first conference in 2017, becoming a true passion and allowing me to enhance my debating and leadership skills as well as tremendously increasing my self-confidence. Thus, I strongly believe that this conference will be a unique life-changing experience for all delegates. It will be my first time as a Chair which is genuinely exciting; I’m looking forward to guiding and moderating you as well as hearing all your ideas in a fruitful and passionate debate. If you have any questions or demands, I’ll be more than happy to help and good luck with your preparations !
HICHAM BENABDALLAH Co-Chair
Dear future delegates of AMMUN 2019, My name is Hicham Benabdallah and I am a senior at André Malraux International High School. For my participation in my fourth MUN conference, I will be the Co-Chair of the Environmental Committee at AMMUN 2019. I have faith that this First Edition will be special and memorable for all of you through the debates and ideas that will be proposed as it brings up the topic of an incredibly fast-rising technology, Artificial Intelligence, with all the perks but also all the issues that it has shown over the past few years. The goal this year will be to get the best out of each of you in order to show the importance of this topic and the ways to deal with it. I have no doubt that this conference will be unique and I will, alongside my fellow Chair Maha Temre, make sure that it is as enjoyable and productive as it can be. If you have any questions, you can contact either of us for more information. The Environmental Committee welcomes you all and wishes you the best of luck!
